Exams.
It's funny how even though most professors tell me that I'm smart, or intelligent, I don't get the best grades ever. My problems lie in the system. I prefer chaos!! If I could write a paper whenever I want to, or take the exam when I feel like it...it would have been great. My problem is having to work within a system, with due-dates and exam rubrics.
I have a playanalysis exam tomorrow. I am getting an A in that course. The reason why I'm getting an A in that coure is because it doesn't include any writing, you just have to read the plays, read them closely...analyse and take an exam in which there're 3 questions from which you have to choose two. You have to read the question carefully, and find the answer in the text itself, write a nice essay with content and not much attention to phrasing or form. You just have to think well. And that's exactly why I am getting an A in this course. One of few things that function in me is the imagination, and that's the only thing you need when it comes to play-analysis.
The problem is in the theatre history where you have to memorize a whole lot of names and places, and technical things. Considering the fact that someone once called me the "fish-memory" which lasts only 5 seconds, you can imagine the kind of hardship I'll be facing in revising the material.
I wish myself luck.
